Interested in learning about advances in magnesium corrosion research and high-throughput corrosion inhibitor screening? The Carbon to Metal Coating Institute (C2MCI) invites you to join us for a virtual public seminar with guest Dr. Sviatlana Lamaka, featured as part of the C2MCI’s Virtual Seminar Series.


In this seminar, Dr. Sviatlana Lamaka will present an integrated study of magnesium degradation, highlighting local electrochemical characterization, a novel metric for quantifying localized corrosion, and automated high-throughput approaches for corrosion inhibitor screening. She will also discuss how experimental data and machine learning models can be combined to enable in silico screening and improve the development of corrosion inhibitors for magnesium alloys.
