Dr. Amir Fam Named Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada

C2MCI is proud to congratulate Dr. Amir Fam, Queen’s University researcher and member of the C2MCI Research Faculty, on his recognition as Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.

Each year, the Royal Society of Canada (RSC)—one of the country’s most prestigious academic institutions—recognizes Canadian researchers for their contributions across the arts and humanities, social sciences, and sciences.

Dr. Fam has been recognized as the world’s leading researcher in fiber-reinforced polymer stay-in-place structural forms for concrete structures and bridges. His technology has been implemented in thousands of marine piles applications and dozens of highway bridges including world firsts.

As a member of C2MCI’s Macro team, Dr. Fam's expertise compliments application and testing of our anti-corrosion materials on large scale civilian infrastructure. We look forward to his continued contributions to the Canadian research community!
