Dr. Gang Zheng receives Tier 1 Canada Research Chair renewal

C2MCI is proud to congratulate Dr. Gang Zheng (C2MCI Scientific Leadership Team Member) on his renewal as Tier 1 Canada Research Chair!

Since joining C2MCI’s Research Faculty as a member of our Nano team, Dr. Zheng (CRC in Cancer Nanomedicine) and his research group at the University Health Network & Princess Margaret Cancer Centre have contributed critical findings on the application and development of gold nanoparticles and nanoclusters for use in early-stage cancer diagnostics.

Dr. Zheng’s pioneering research has established new approaches for cancer imaging, expanded the potential of targeted cancer therapies, and influenced the global development of nanomedicine.
